Karachi (03 February 2026): The International Parliamentary Conference i.e. 7th CPA Asia Regional Conference and 2nd Joint CPA Asia & South-East Asia Conference is commencing in Karachi today and will continue until 7 February. In this regard, the arrival of national and international delegations is ongoing.

For participation in the Joint Conference of the Commonwealth Parliamentary Association (CPA) Asia and South-East Asia Regions, parliamentarians, speakers, and experts from various countries are arriving in Karachi. The host, the Provincial Assembly of Sindh, has made arrangements to warmly receive the guests.

A delegation of MPAs from Punjab arrived, including Malik Ahmed Saeed, Noor-ul-Amin Wattoo, Asma Ehtesham, Qudsia Batool, Sardar Muhammad Owais Dreshak, and officials including Additional Secretary (Admin) Abdul Samad Bajwa, Syeda Umme Rabab Naqvi, and Ali Shan Awan.

The delegation was received by MPAs Saima Agha, Aijaz Hussain Shah, Arbab Lutfullah, and Khurram Karim Soomro.
