Karachi (03 February 2026): The arrival of National and International delegations continues in Karachi for participation in the International Parliamentary Conference i.e. 7th CPA Asia Regional Conference and 2nd Joint CPA Asia & South-East Conference, being held from today until 7 February.

Parliamentarians, Speakers, and experts from various countries are arriving in Karachi to attend the Joint Conference of the Commonwealth Parliamentary Association (CPA) Asia and South-East Asia Regions. The host, the Sindh Assembly, has made comprehensive arrangements to warmly receive the distinguished guests.

For participation in the CPA International Conference, Speaker of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly, Babar Saleem Swati, arrived at Karachi Airport along with a parliamentary delegation.

The delegation accompanying Babar Saleem Swati includes Deputy Speaker of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly Suraiya Bibi, MPA Asif Khan, MPA Mian Sharfat Ali, MPA Sajjadullah, and MPA Arshad Ali.

Other members from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa include MPA Liaquat Ali, Makhdoomzada Muhammad Aftab Haider, and others.

The delegation of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly was received by Sindh Assembly MPA Muhammad Asif Khan, who welcomed them and presented bouquets & Ajraks.
