“Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto, an iconic leader and champion of democracy, inspired generations with her courage, vision, and unwavering commitment to the people of Pakistan. As the first female Prime Minister of Pakistan, she led the Country towards peace, progress and prosperity. Her leadership was marked by significant achievements, including the promotion of education, healthcare, and women’s empowerment etc.
Shaheed Benazir Bhutto determinedly promoted tolerance, dialogue and peace, striving to purify our Nation from the curse of terrorism and her mission was to establish a democratic system and a society based on equality.
Through her martyrdom, she immortalized her legacy, which continues to guide us towards a brighter future, where democracy, equality, and justice reign supreme.
On the occasion of 71st birth anniversary of Shaheed Mohatrma Benazir Bhutto, this House resolves to reaffirm its commitment to carrying forward her vision for a progressive and prosperous Pakistan as her legacy lives on through the leadership of Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, who continues her mission.”
