Subject:       ADJOURNMENT MOTION NO. 03 OF 2024;GIVEN NOTICE OF BY MS. HEER SOHO, MPA REGARDING ISSUE OF ILLEGAL MIGRANTS RESIDING IN THE PROVINCE.

I am to state that the Provincial Assembly of Sindh in its sitting held on Tuesday, the 03^rd September, 2024 discussed the subjected Adjournment Motion [copy attached] and after discussion, the Minister for Law, Parliamentary Affairs & Criminal Prosecution and Home, Sindh moved a Substantive Motion, which is reproduced as under:

‘This Assembly is of the opinion that illegal immigrants residing in the Province of Sindh belonging to other countries be extradited to their original countries’.

The said Substantive Motion was carried by the House.

02.               The Rule 93(2) of Rules of Procedure, Provincial Assembly of Sindh, 2013 which provides that‘After the matter has been discussed, the contents of the debated adjournment motion shall be forwarded to the Cabinet for consideration, through a Substantive Motion’.

03.               It is, therefore, requested that the same may kindly be placed before the Cabinet for consideration.
