I am to state that the Provincial Assembly of Sindh in its sitting held on Friday, the 14th March, 2025 has unanimously passed the following Resolution moved by Mr. Murad Ali Shah, Chief Minister, Sindh, Mr. Ali Khurshidi, MPA/ Leader of Opposition, Provincial Assembly of Sindh, Mr. Fahim Ahmed, MPA and Mr. Muhammad Iftikhar Alam, MPA:
“This House strongly condemns the terrorist attack on the Jaffer Express and recognises the heinous terrorist attack as a grave act of violence that seeks to undermine peace and instill fear among the citizens of Pakistan;
Declares that such cowardly acts of terror will never deter the resilience and resolve of the Pakistani people and the State in eradicating terrorism from our soil;
Reiterates that the people of Pakistan stand united against all forms of terrorism and violence that threaten the security and stability of the nation;
Expresses deep grief and solidarity with the families of those who lost their lives and prays for the speedy recovery of the injured;
Pays tribute to the armed forces and law enforcement agencies for their prompt and effective action in responding to the incident, preventing further loss of life, and bringing the perpetrators to justice;
Reaffirms that the people and institutions of Pakistan will continue to stand against terrorism in all its forms and manifestations, and that those responsible for such acts will be held accountable under the full force of the law.
